  • Caged for Critters - On May 24th, Funds for Furry Friends will be hosting it's first ever "Caged for Critters" event! At the Home Depot Parking Lot. We have invited several upstanding members of the community to show their support by spending some time "caged" in support of animal rescue. We will be asking members of the community to come on out and donate towards the "rescue" of each of these participants - all in support of a great cause! Alongside the main event, we will have a silent auction with GREAT prizes, as well as food and fun for the whole family! COME ON OUT AND SUPPORT OUR FURRY FRIENDS! We will post a list of our participants as they confirm! Watch for updates! Funds for Furry Friends has no paid staff and no overhead costs to run a shelter. This means that 100% of the funds raised at this event will go towards the costs of the care, vet work, supplies, transportation, and boarding (when needed) for the animals. All of our animals are placed in loving foster homes, but the rescue does pay for their temporary boarding when an appropriate foster family is unavailable and the animal's intake is urgent! We depend on donations to maintain our operations, and we count on this support to keep running . www.fundsfurfriends.com
